Shipment of Your Order
The products purchased by the Buyer shall be delivered within the timeframe stated on the order form, as mutually agreed by the parties.
If delivery is delayed for reasons beyond our control, it shall be deemed to have taken place on the agreed delivery date.
Goods are transported at the recipient’s risk, even when shipped carriage paid (FRANCO).
The recipient is responsible for checking the condition of the packages and goods upon arrival and for making explicit reservations on the carrier’s delivery note. These reservations must be confirmed to us by registered letter within 48 hours following receipt of the goods, together with a copy of the delivery note. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.
The mention “subject to unpacking” is not sufficient.
In the absence of duly formulated reservations under the above conditions, the products delivered by VBSA shall be deemed compliant with the order in terms of quantity and quality.
Our goods are delivered carriage paid (France mainland) for any order reaching €150 net excl. VAT, excluding certain products requiring specific freight arrangements, and delivered to a single address.
If the free-shipping threshold is not reached, a flat-rate charge of €15.90 excl. VAT will be invoiced.
For orders shipped to French overseas territories (DOM-TOM) or Export, delivery terms are Ex Works (EXW – Incoterms® 2020 ICC).
For orders shipped to Corsica:

below €150 net excl. VAT: actual transport costs will be charged,

from €150 net excl. VAT: transport cost of €21.50 excl. VAT.
For bulky shipments (palletised goods), transport costs are quoted on request.
Retention of Title
VBSA retains ownership of the products sold until full payment of the invoice by the Buyer, and reserves the right to repossess said products.
Any deposit paid shall remain the property of VBSA as fixed compensation, without prejudice to any other legal action it may take against the Buyer.
The risk of loss or damage is transferred to the Buyer upon delivery of the products.
The Buyer undertakes to insure the products at its own expense, for the benefit of VBSA, until full transfer of ownership, and to provide proof of such insurance upon delivery.
Failing this, VBSA reserves the right to postpone delivery until such proof is provided.
Important notice:
For bulky items such as scaffolding, cabinets, telescopic poles, workbenches, etc., additional transport charges may apply.
Delivery times for such items are longer and may reach 7 to 10 days from order receipt.
