There are various types of windshield bonding, including polyurethane-based adhesives that offer high resistance and a good seal. Reactive adhesives and specific glazing adhesives are also commonly used.  The adhesive is applied when replacing or repairing a windscreen. It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions on drying time and application conditions. Correct bonding is crucial to the safety of the vehicle, as a poorly bonded windshield can compromise the structural integrity of the vehicle in the event of an accident. Windscreen adhesives must comply with safety and performance standards to ensure the safety of passengers, particularly in the event of an accident.
