Effectively protecting the windshield bay during cutting has long been a challenge for technicians. Traditional methods, such as inserting a protective shield between the glass and the bay, are often ineffective against the repeated vibrations and impacts of electric or pneumatic tools. These tools can displace or damage the protective shield, exposing the paint to the risk of damage. This system of metal strips covered with protective tape has been specially designed to address this problem. Unlike conventional metal strips, these offer increased resistance to downward pressure, allowing them to remain in place throughout the entire operation.
